WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
(I didn't really measure anything out, but I do use
bigger amounts of the veggies than the fruits.)
- Kale
- Spinach (whole bag)
- celery (6 sticks)
- 3 carrots
- 1 1/2 lemon (juice of)
- coconut water
- 3 apples
- 1 handful of grapes
DIRECTIONS:
1. Because I like my drinks very smooth I used a nut milk bag to strain everything out. So i took a big pitcher and but my nut milk bag inside of it wrapping the elastic around the edge of the pitcher. That way I can just strain everything right into the pitcher. So I started out cracking open the coconut. Pour the coconut water into the nut milk bag. Then I hand squeezed my lemons into the bag as well. Then everything else went into the juicer. Pour juiced ingredients into the bag, and strain everything through. Stir well, and serve! It is always best to drink your green juice as soon as possible so that you can get ALL of the nutrients.
2. Rather than wasting my coconut, I scraped out the meat and I stored it in a bag in the freezer. You could use the meat at a later date in a smoothie. If you don't want to throw away the pulp from all the fruits and veggies, you could either compost it, or you can dehydrate it into veggie crackers/chips.
